|Welcome to St Laserian's Cathedral and Parishes|
Our worship is liturgical, ordered and inclusive. The Eucharist is celebrated at least once each Sunday in the parish and all are welcome at the Lord-s Table to receive the sacrament. Our services are drawn from our rich liturgical heritage in a way which is warm and unstuffy. Most services are individually printed on a sheet so that everyone - including visitors - can follow.
Our worship could best be summed up as 'informally formal'. The services last about forty-five minutes and coffee usually follows the morning worship in the cathedral. Attendances can range from eight to ten people or from fifty to packed. The Laserian Consort or the Cathedral Singers are in residence for special services but our normal worship, Sunday by Sunday, consists of hymns. Our service times are as follows [but please check the 'News' on the home page in case there is a change or a special celebration]:
